So they took a heating wire and wrapped it around a controller - voila - ready, let's go and patent the idea of a controller with a heating wire around it.

really? what's next? patenting a sponge with soap in it? a bread with butter? this world is doomed .. :-)

It is just THAAAAT ridicolous what get's patented these days. One patents round corners, another one patents his stunning idea of wrapping a heating wire around a controller. Come on really .. someone should invent (and patent!) face-palm-googles or caps so we can express our thinkings about patents ..
