Project Home Screenshots Blog Posts Forum | 2012-01-18 05:24 Amazon App Store Approval Lastly even Amazon has approved my submitted apps. They need only a few days which is fine - my fault was to submit the apps right before a weekend :-) Amazon Appstore was never quiet popular for me because from developer experiences downloads and sales are low. However, because of the new Amazon Kindle Fire this market became a quiet interessting choice for developers. Personally I got a mail from a Kindle User which asked me why my app is not in the Amazon Store, so I loaded my main games up. I started this process yet another day, but didn't finish, because like every other store - yes, you got it - you need to deliver all images in different formats than in every other store :-) Right some minutes ago I received the confirmation about approvals - yeah! Normaly, I upload my videos of the games to youtube, where I can link them in a fast and nearly-always-working way. At Amazon Appstore you need to upload the video once again, because - and I understand that - they want to host it themself and - much more important - they don't want any foreign branding in their store. Sadly - in my videos is some text at the end, where I tell the viewer where he can find this game in the vid - which is .. or was .. the android market. Unfortunatly Amazon don't like that, they want also be in the credits - well, I will update my vids the next days, I surely understand why they want it and I just haven't thought about that. Maybe I should update my website some time, so I can put up links to the different stores. Would be also fine for me to have some kind of reminder, where I have upload updates - that's always a lot of work. | most popular at reiti.net: Robo Miner for Android Minesweeper: Unlimited! for Android Personal Blog of reiti.net advertisement: |
