I do track many things on my website but many of them will just force me to run around with a perma-facepalm ..

Let's take that stupid spam bots .. wait - the spam bots are often very brilliant pieces of software, but it is their users which are so much dumb.

I have so many bot-registrations where you can clearly see a mis-configuration - it is a bit funny - haha

But because I do not use well-known blog system for my websites, I normally do not have any problems with bots.

That's the reason why I do program my websites from scratch - no spam posts.

But I also do not want to annoy real users with complicated authentication methods. That's also why you can just sign up on this page - it is by far not perfect, but it suits the purpose of this website.

I am pretty curious about how spam bots will be in the future .. but at the moment, most of their users are just too dumb to use them properly .. and start a shitstorm about how bad the spambot software is - haha ;-)
